It started as a normal delivery shift.
He had dozens of stops left, a long route ahead, and no reason to expect anything unusual. But when he opened his bag to check the next package, something moved.
Inside, curled up quietly as if it had always belonged there, was a tiny cat.
At first, he thought he must be imagining it. How could a stray kitten end up in a delivery bag? But the little animal didn’t move much — it simply blinked slowly, exhausted, as if it had finally found a safe place to rest.
The driver realized the kitten must have climbed in while he was loading packages earlier that morning. It had likely been searching for warmth, food… or simply somewhere it wouldn’t be chased away.
Instead of dropping it off at a shelter immediately, he finished his route with his new passenger riding safely beside him. By the end of the day, the decision was already made.
Some deliveries aren’t planned.
Some just find their way to the right person.
