For several nights in a row, drivers traveling along a quiet highway noticed something unusual.
A dog was standing directly on the yellow center line of the road.
At first, most drivers assumed it was just a stray crossing the highway.
But the strange thing was… the dog didn’t move.
Night after night, people saw him in the exact same place.
Standing still. Looking down the road.
One evening, a truck driver finally decided to stop.
He slowed his vehicle and carefully pulled over, worried the dog might get hit by a passing car.
As he stepped out and approached, the dog didn’t run away.
Instead, it walked a few meters down the road… then turned back and looked at the driver.
Almost as if it wanted him to follow.
Curious, the driver walked behind the dog.
Just a short distance away, on the side of the road, he saw something lying in the grass.
It was a damaged motorcycle.
Next to it was the dog’s injured owner, who had crashed several nights earlier and had been unable to move far from the roadside.
The loyal dog had been standing in the road each night, trying to stop someone — anyone — who might help.
That night, someone finally did.
Rescue teams arrived soon after.
And the dog never left his owner’s side.
