A surprising moment in a city park is gaining attention online after a stray dog appeared to protect a baby from another aggressive dog.

According to witnesses, a baby was sitting in a stroller during a walk through the park when a larger stray dog began approaching quickly from behind. Before the animal could get too close, another smaller dog stepped directly in front of the stroller.

Instead of running away, the protective dog stood its ground between the baby and the approaching animal. Witnesses said the dog barked and positioned itself defensively, preventing the other dog from getting any closer.

After a few tense seconds, the larger dog backed away and slowly left the area.

People nearby were stunned by what they saw.

The baby remained completely unharmed, and the protective dog stayed near the stroller until the parent returned.
