This bright starfruit counting puzzle looks simple, but the different group sizes make it surprisingly easy to miss one.
The best strategy is to count each cluster separately, moving from left to right and then down the image.
Some groups contain only two starfruits, while others contain three or even four. A few of the smaller fruits are partially hidden behind the larger ones, which makes a quick count unreliable.
Working carefully through all twelve groups gives the correct total:
36 starfruits.
The center sections are especially important because several fruits overlap. There are also a few tiny starfruits positioned in front of or between larger ones that can easily disappear from your count.
Answer: 36.
If you got a different number the first time, try counting each cluster individually rather than scanning the whole picture at once.
Did you manage to find all 36 without losing track?
