How Many Parrots Can You Count?

This colorful parrot puzzle is all about careful counting. The bright feathers make the birds stand out, but the different sizes and positions can still make it easy to skip one or count the same bird twice. A good way to solve it is to scan the image from the top left across each row before moving downward.

The correct answer is 8 parrots. There are several large macaws in red, blue, and yellow, along with smaller green and orange parrots. Counting each individual bird once gives a total of eight.

Visual counting puzzles like this can be surprisingly tricky because your eyes naturally focus on the largest or brightest subjects first. The smaller birds are often the ones people miss.

If you counted 8 on your first try, your attention to detail was right on target.
