Farmers Witness Wolves Attacking Chickens Near Rural Village

A quiet morning on a rural farm quickly turned tense when a farmer noticed movement near his chicken coop.

At first he assumed it was a stray dog wandering near the property.

But moments later, two wolves stepped out from the nearby tree line.

The animals moved quickly toward the chickens roaming in the yard, scattering the flock in seconds. Before the farmer could react, one wolf grabbed a chicken while the other kept watch.

Within moments, the wolves disappeared back into the forest.

Wildlife officials later confirmed the tracks belonged to wolves traveling through the area while searching for food.

Experts say predators sometimes approach farms when natural prey is scarce.

Authorities advised local farmers to reinforce fencing and keep poultry secured at night.
