It was October 17, 2023, at exactly 2:47 in the morning when I finally had enough.
For weeks my little boy, only three years old, had been waking up smiling and waving at absolutely nothing. He would stand in his crib, one hand waving excitedly and the other pointing toward the empty corner of the nursery. At first I thought he was just playing or dreaming. But it kept happening… night after night. Same time. Same empty wall. Same big happy smile on his face.
I started feeling uneasy. My husband laughed it off and said kids have imaginary friends, but something in my mother’s heart told me this wasn’t normal.
That night I stayed awake and watched the live feed from the baby camera. My son suddenly sat up, giggled, and began waving again with pure joy. He even said “Hi!” clear as day.
My heart was pounding as I rewound the footage and zoomed in on that corner.
What I saw next made my blood run cold.
There, in the green glow of the night vision, stood a faint figure. It wasn’t a shadow. It wasn’t a trick of the light. It looked like an elderly woman… gently waving back at my son with the same warm smile. She appeared for only a few seconds before fading away.
I gasped so loud I woke my husband. We watched the clip together over and over, both of us speechless.
The next morning I showed the video to my mom. She turned pale and whispered, “That’s your great-grandma Rose… she passed away two months before he was born. She always said she would watch over her first great-grandchild.”
My son never met her. But somehow… she found a way to meet him.
To this day he still waves at that corner sometimes. And now, instead of fear, I feel peace.
Because I know someone who loves him very much is still visiting… even from the other side. ❤️
