The poor puppy had no collar, no tags, and was so cold he could barely stand. I wrapped him in my jacket and took him home, where he finally ate and fell asleep in my arms for the first time. The vet said he couldn’t have survived another night out there.
That little boy — now named Finn — has become the happiest, most loving dog. Every time it snows, he still gets a little nervous, but then he runs to me with his tail wagging like crazy, as if saying “thank you for finding me.” What started as a freezing, lonely night in an alley turned into the beginning of a beautiful forever home.
