For 16 years, this black bear lived in a small, cramped cage with almost no space to move. Her life changed when she was rescued and brought to a sanctuary in Colorado. There, she was given 15 acres of open grassland where she can now walk, explore, and enjoy the fresh air for the first time in her adult life.
Even at 31 years old, she is thriving in her new home. Her transformation from a life of confinement to one of freedom shows the incredible resilience of animals when they are finally given the care and space they deserve.
