In the original 1976 film Rocky, Sylvester Stallone’s character buys two pet turtles named Cuff and Link. In real life, Stallone has kept turtles by those names for decades. He even brought them back for a cameo in Creed II in 2018, proudly showing them off on Instagram as his “original buddies” who were then about 44 years old.
Stallone has shared how much these turtles mean to him, turning a movie prop into a long-lasting real-life companion story.
