Abandoned Kitten Left in a Box on Rainy Street Touches Hearts Online

A small kitten sitting alone in a cardboard box on a rainy city street has captured the attention of thousands online.

The tiny animal was found early in the morning by a passerby who noticed the box placed near the sidewalk. Written on the front was a simple message: “Please don’t leave me again.”

The kitten appeared frightened but calm, quietly watching the busy street as people walked past.

According to the person who discovered the box, the kitten was likely left there sometime during the night. Concerned for its safety, they carefully picked up the box and brought the animal to a nearby shelter.

Staff at the shelter said the kitten is healthy and is now being cared for while waiting for a permanent home.

Stories like this often remind people of how important responsible pet ownership is.

For now, the little kitten is safe — and many hope it soon finds a family that will never leave it behind again.
