She didn’t plan for that day to end like this.
It started like any other—normal, routine, nothing unusual. But everything changed the moment she saw him.
The tiny dog was barely moving.
Wrapped in a thin blanket, fragile and weak, he looked like he had already given up. His body was trembling, his breathing shallow, and his eyes… barely open.
She couldn’t walk away.
Without thinking twice, she picked him up and held him close, trying to keep him warm. People around her noticed the tears immediately—but they didn’t yet know why.
This wasn’t just sadness.
