When they first found Buddy… he didn’t even lift his head.
Lying quietly, weak and tired, his body told a story no animal should ever have to live through. He had been neglected for too long — left without care, without comfort, without someone to simply sit beside him.
But even then… he didn’t growl.
He didn’t fight.
He just looked at them.

The rescue team knew right away — this wasn’t just about saving a dog.

They carried him gently, placed him somewhere warm, and for the first time in a long time… Buddy felt a soft hand on his head.

He started recognizing the people around him.
And one day… he wagged his tail.

But that was enough.

Calm. Safe. Loved.
