5 × 3 − 2 + 1 × 2

Most people just go left to right and end up with the wrong answer, but there’s a rule you always have to follow

Multiplication comes first

So start there

5 × 3 = 15

1 × 2 = 2

Now the problem becomes

15 − 2 + 2

From here, go left to right

15 − 2 = 13

13 + 2 = 15

That’s the correct answer
