For several weeks, a kind woman noticed a beautiful long-haired cat coming and going from under her old wooden porch.
She started leaving out fresh food and water, but the cat would only take a few bites before grabbing one piece in her mouth and disappearing underneath the house again.
One quiet afternoon, the woman decided to take a closer look.
What she saw melted her heart completely.
Under the porch, hidden from view, were three tiny kittens — black and white, orange, and gray — all meowing softly with big curious eyes.
The mama cat had been carrying food back to her babies every single time. She would eat just enough to keep herself strong, then bring the rest to her little family.
