This black swan counting puzzle looks peaceful at first, but several of the birds are positioned where they can be surprisingly easy to miss.
Start with the obvious swans in the foreground. There is one large swan standing near the flowers, another swimming in the center-right of the lake, and one more partially hidden behind the rocks at the lower right.
Now look farther into the scene. One swan is swimming near the dock on the left, another tiny one is visible in the distance near the middle of the lake, and another is tucked beneath the stone bridge.
Finally, check the upper corners carefully. One black swan is hiding among the leaves at the top left, while another is perched on top of the bridge.
Add them all together and you get the final count.
Answer: There are 8 black swans in the picture.
Did you find all eight before checking the answer?
