At first, your mind probably goes straight to a person or an animal. After all, we normally associate a head with a brain and the ability to think.
But the trick is to look for something that has a “head” in a completely different sense.
Think about an ordinary object you might find in a toolbox. A nail has a flat top that is commonly called its head. You strike that part with a hammer to drive the nail into wood or another material.
Of course, despite having a head, a nail has no brain and cannot think.
