This adorable picture puzzle has been making the rounds on social media, and it is a fantastic test of your observation skills! At first glance, it just looks like a beautiful pile of fluffy Pomeranians.
The image asks a very simple question: “How many Pomeranians can you find?”
What makes this counting challenge so tricky is how some of the little pups are perfectly camouflaged among all that fluff. There are six large dogs sitting front and center, but a few tiny ones are tucked away in the background. It is incredibly easy for your eyes to get lost in the sea of fur and completely skip over the little guys!
To get the right answer, you have to look closely and check the spaces between the dogs very carefully. Let’s count them up! There are 6 large Pomeranians taking up most of the space (3 in the front row, 3 in the back row).
Now for the hidden ones: there is 1 tiny pup peeking out on the far left edge, 1 tucked right in the middle between the front-left and center dogs, and 1 more peeking out on the far right edge.
When you add the 6 large dogs and the 3 tiny hidden ones together, you find the entire fluffy family.
Answer: 9.
