Some pets find a favorite place in the house and make it part of the family routine. In this fictional birthday tribute, Peanut is a ginger cat celebrating his 17th birthday — and the window is still his favorite lookout.
Picture all the mornings spent waiting for a familiar face, watching birds pass by, and enjoying a warm patch of sunlight. For an older pet, those small routines can feel especially precious.
Happy 17th birthday, Peanut!
This imagined portrait celebrates the companionship senior pets bring to a home, rather than telling the verified history of a real cat. Whether your pet is young or old, a quiet moment together can be worth celebrating.
