The snow had already started to fall, covering everything in silence.

Out there, in the cold, he sat still.

No blanket. No shelter. Just the freezing air and a quiet hope that someone inside would notice him.

His fur was dusted with snow, his eyes half-closed from the cold, but he didn’t leave. He stayed close to the door, as if he understood that warmth was just a few steps away… but not for him.

Dogs don’t ask for much.

They don’t need expensive things or perfect homes. They just want to be close—to feel safe, to feel included, to feel loved.
