Toads often enter homes during hot or dry weather in search of cool, moist areas and a steady supply of insects. They are beneficial to have around because they eat pests like flies, mosquitoes, and garden-damaging bugs.
While their presence can be surprising, toads are generally harmless and indicate a healthy local ecosystem. Gently guiding them back outside is the best way to handle the situation.
What do you think? Have you ever found a toad in your house?
