Eventually, security reviewed the cameras. The footage revealed the truth: earlier that morning, a traveler had arrived with the dog, paused near the exit, and then left in a hurry. The dog had slipped free in the crowd, unnoticed.

By evening, word spread among employees and passengers alike. Someone brought water. Another offered food. Still, the dog stayed facing the doors, teddy bear held gently, as if waiting for the person who gave it that toy.
