Missing Number Puzzle – Can You Solve This Circle Math Riddle?

This viral number puzzle is leaving people confused because it looks simple at first — but the pattern isn’t as obvious as it seems. You’re given a circle with numbers around the edge and a “5” in the center. The challenge is to find the missing number.

If you look closely, there’s a consistent relationship between the numbers. The outer numbers follow a multiplication pattern involving the center number. Specifically, each number on one side of the circle is multiplied by 5 (the center value) to produce the number directly opposite it.

For example:

2 × 5 = 10

3 × 5 = 15

4 × 5 = 20

Following this same logic, the number opposite 5 should satisfy the same rule. Since 5 × 5 = 25, the missing number is 5.

This puzzle tricks people because the layout is circular, making it harder to immediately notice the opposite-number relationship. Once you spot the pattern, though, the answer becomes clear.
