In a dark, abandoned basement filled with cobwebs and trash, this sweet mama dog gave birth to her puppies all alone. Weak and hungry, she still curled around her babies, doing everything she could to keep them warm and safe on pieces of cardboard.
A local rescuer who checks abandoned buildings heard faint cries and found them. The whole family was rushed to a shelter where mama got food, medicine, and a clean warm bed.
