This bird-counting puzzle contains more birds than most people notice at first glance.
Start with the clearly visible birds:
- 4 birds across the top
- 4 larger birds around the birdhouse
- 4 birds across the bottom
That gives us 12 obvious birds.
Now look carefully for the three hidden birds:
- 1 bird peeking from the leaves at the upper right
- 1 bird hiding near the flowers on the far left
- 1 small bird concealed among the leaves beneath the birdhouse
Now add them together:
12 + 3 = 15
The correct answer is 15 birds.
