This classic brain teaser sounds like it must be describing something alive:
“What has lots of eyes but can’t see?”
The trick is that these aren’t real eyes used for vision.
A common everyday food has many small spots called “eyes” growing across its surface. Those eyes are actually buds that can eventually sprout and grow into new plants.
So even though it may have plenty of “eyes,” it can’t see a thing.
Answer: A potato.
