This colorful chameleon counting puzzle looks easy at first, but several of the reptiles blend surprisingly well into the leaves, branches, and tree bark.
The easiest way to solve it is to scan the picture slowly from top to bottom.
Some chameleons are very obvious, including the large blue-green one near the top left, the yellow one on the middle branch, and the orange one on the right. Others are much harder to notice because their colors closely match the surrounding foliage.
Be sure to check the upper-right leaves, the center greenery, the tree trunk, and the rocks near the bottom. A few smaller chameleons are tucked into those areas and can easily be missed.
After counting every visible chameleon carefully, the total is:
10 chameleons.
The smaller green ones are the easiest to overlook because they blend almost perfectly into the leaves.
Answer: 10.
Did you find all 10 on your first try?
