This busy farmyard is packed with chickens, and several are much easier to miss than the large birds in the foreground. Some are tucked behind the fence, inside the barn, around the wagon wheel and in the nesting areas.
The easiest approach is to divide the picture into sections and count each bird only once. Start at the top, move through the fence and barn, then finish with the chickens around the ground and coop.

The smaller and partly hidden birds make this challenge deceptively difficult. A quick glance will usually produce a much lower number. How many did you count before checking the answer?
