At first glance, this adorable farmyard scene looks like a simple group of nine baby alpacas. But look again. Some smaller alpacas are peeking out from behind the taller ones, turning a sweet animal picture into a surprisingly tricky counting challenge.
Take your time and scan the photograph from left to right. Check the gaps between the larger animals, the space near the fence, and the places where two fluffy bodies overlap. Each visible face counts as a separate alpaca, even if the rest of its body is hidden.
How many baby alpacas are there?
Answer: 13 baby alpacas. Nine are easy to spot, while four smaller alpacas are tucked behind the main group.
Did you find all thirteen on your first try? Share the picture with someone who enjoys animal puzzles and see whether they notice the hidden ones.
