How Many Siamese Cats Are Hiding Here? This Cute Picture Puzzle Tests Your Eyes

This August 25th, challenge yourself with an adorable picture puzzle that has been making the rounds on social media! It is a fantastic test of observation skills, and at first glance, it just looks like a beautiful group of Siamese cats.

The file, image_20.png, asks a very simple question: “How many Siamese cats are hiding here?”

What makes this counting challenge so tricky is how some of the tiny feline faces are perfectly camouflaged among the vibrant green houseplants and wooden furniture. There are four large Siamese cats sitting prominently, but a handful of sneaky little ones are tucked away. It is incredibly easy for older eyes to focus only on the big, striking blue eyes in the foreground and completely skip over the hidden ones!

To get the right answer, you have to look closely and check every space carefully. Let’s count them up! There are 4 large Siamese cats taking up most of the space (1 sitting tall on the top shelf, and 3 resting comfortably on the rug below).

Now for the hidden ones: there is 1 tiny face peeking out from the leafy plant pot on the far left, 1 hiding inside the patterned pot on the top left shelf, and 1 peering from the plain pot on the top right shelf. Looking lower, there is 1 face tucked inside the wooden cubby above the wicker basket, 1 perfectly camouflaged among the leaves of the plant on the middle right, and 1 more peeking out from behind the tall snake plant on the far right.

When you add the 4 large cats and the 6 hidden ones together, you find the entire adorable clowder.

Answer: 10.
