This picture puzzle asks one simple question:
How many stars do you see?
The night sky is filled with bright yellow stars of different sizes, so the easiest way to count them is to scan the image slowly from top to bottom.
Count the clearly drawn yellow five-point stars and ignore the tiny white specks used as background starlight. There is also a small star reflected near the water at the bottom, which is easy to miss.
After carefully checking the whole scene, the intended total is:
37 stars.
The biggest mistake is counting quickly and skipping the smaller stars near the clouds, moon, and lower part of the picture. The reflected star at the bottom can also change your total if you overlook it.
Answer: 37.
Did you find all of them on your first try, or did you have to count twice?
