These adorable baby sea turtles are crossing a sandy beach, but some of the smallest turtles are partly concealed beside seashells or behind other turtles.
How many baby turtles are in the picture?
The intended answer is 12 baby turtles. Count the large turtles first, then search for the much smaller faces that peek out from behind the larger animals and objects.
Where should you look?
Inspect the large seashell along the left side; one little turtle is hiding nearby. Look behind the large turtle toward the center of the top half for another small head. Check the lower-right area underneath a larger turtle’s shell, where a tiny turtle is tucked away.
These visual puzzles are designed to reward careful attention. Instead of counting only complete shells, look for every distinct turtle’s head and flippers. Count one turtle at a time and work from top to bottom to avoid duplicates.
Could you find all twelve without a hint? Share the challenge with someone who loves cute animals.
