Can You Solve This? 5 + 15 – 5 × 2 = ?

This simple-looking math puzzle has been stumping people online. Many get the wrong answer because they forget the correct order of operations. The key is to follow PEMDAS (or BODMAS): Parentheses/Brackets, Exponents/Orders, Multiplication and Division (from left to right), Addition and Subtraction (from left to right).

First, do the multiplication: 5 × 2 = 10.

Then the equation becomes: 5 + 15 – 10.

Now, 5 + 15 = 20, then 20 – 10 = 10.

The correct answer is 10. Many people incorrectly do the operations left to right without prioritizing multiplication, getting 30 or other wrong answers.
