In pouring rain on a cold city street, this devoted mama cat curled tightly around her tiny kitten inside a soggy cardboard box. Soaked and shivering, she refused to leave her baby’s side, using her body as a shield from the storm. The kitten stayed safe and warm against her, but both were clearly struggling.
A passerby spotted them and gently carried the box to safety. At the rescue center, they received dry blankets, warm food, and medical care. A loving family later adopted them together. Now they live indoors, dry and happy, with the mama still watching over her kitten every single day.
