These green baby chameleons blend beautifully into their leafy surroundings. The picture invites you to find all twelve baby chameleons, but a few are much harder to spot than the rest.
How many baby chameleons are there?
The intended count is 12 chameleons. Most are perched openly on branches, while smaller ones peek out near the leaves or behind the larger lizards.
Look for hidden faces
Start in the upper-left corner and trace every branch across the picture. Count the large chameleons first, then look for small eyes and tiny faces in the spaces beneath and behind the leaves.
Chameleons can be hard to distinguish from their surroundings because their bodies and the foliage share similar colors. In a counting puzzle, this makes small animals blend into the scene even when their eyes are visible.
How to check your answer
Move steadily from top to bottom and avoid counting the same chameleon twice. If you reach fewer than twelve, look especially closely around leaf edges and where branches overlap.
