This dog-counting puzzle contains more puppies than most people notice at first glance.
Start with the larger dogs:
1 dog at the top
2 dogs in the second row
2 dogs in the third row
2 dogs near the bottom
That gives us 7 larger dogs.
Now count the smaller hidden puppies:
2 puppies beside the top dog
1 puppy in the center
1 puppy peeking from the left side
2 smaller puppies near the bottom center
1 puppy at the bottom right
Now add them together:
7 larger dogs + 7 smaller puppies = 14
The correct answer is 14 dogs.
Many people miss the tiny puppies hiding beside the larger dogs, especially the puppy peeking from the left and the one at the bottom right.
